At Keobakile Nursing Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality nursing education. Below are the minimum admission requirements for prospective students.
- National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification at exit level 4.
- Grade 12 Certificate with the following subjects:
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Physical Sciences or Science
- Biology or Life Sciences
- English (minimum D symbol)
- A health-related qualification at NQF Level 4.
- Applicants aged 23 years or older may apply for conditional exemption.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Admission
Keobakile Nursing Academy offers a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process for students who matriculated before or after 2008. The following admission process will apply:
RPL Admission Process
- Previously, subjects were divided into two groups:
- Group 1: Biology, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
- Group 2: Geography, Business Economics, and History.
- To qualify, students in Group 2 must complete a Bio-Medical Science preparatory program, which will be provided by the school.
- The program consists of:
- A 4-week structured study package covering foundational Bio-Medical Science concepts.
- Two 3-hour support sessions with mentors for guidance.
- At the end of the program, students must complete an assessment and achieve a minimum score of 60%.
- Successful candidates will be admitted into the Regulation 169 programme.
